why thank you! if you think that's awesome, you should actually see some footage of the band... this is the only video i could find, and it's not one of their best songs. but if you're ever in athens, ga, you should see 'em play!

hells yeah! i love katz! he's one of the funniest dudes i know, and makes rad music.
have you heard of dark meat? the lineup keeps changing, but it's basically 20+ musicians from other bands playing psychedelic rock and sometimes just fucking noise. it's always a party when they're around.
Have not heard Dark Meat but that does sound neat. Are they playing simultaneously or coming on and off changing the sound organically?
I had the pleasure of catching Katz at the Stonewall up here. We might steal'im from you since he's expressed interest in Brooklyn!
well, you can find dark meat's first album on itunes, which i think is actually a sound investment.
their sound has changed (and really changes every show): i remember the first show they played - it was like 30 musicians jacking off with their instruments. now it's more controlled (in a sense) and there's one guy writing the songs. it's still got like fifteen vocalists and an entire horn section and two drummers, but at least you can sing along with it. it's controlled chaos.
i'll never forget the night me and an ex drove back from north carolina, watched a marx brothers movie and went to sleep, only to be woken at 3 am by dark meat, crashing a nonexistent party at my dude's house. it was amazing.
oh by the way, if you take katz, i will fucking bury you.
I finally got around to watching that YouTube clip... it's like watching Awesome arm-wrestle with Ridiculous.
the girls will be super-pumped to hear that! you have no idea.
They has an MySpace page with tunez that are so freakin' awesome it inspires my soul sauce!
they're on facebook now too. apparently they're getting stickers of this design printed up!
